As most of you know, I'm starting a new journey in life!! I'm working on being a surrogate mother! I thought it was a good Idea to start a blogg so everyone could see the process!!
I have allways thought being a surrogate mother would be awesome, since I love being preganant and I can give someone the gift of life!! I would love to fullfill someone needs to be a mother!!
I also love that I can teach my children to be kind and helpful.
It has been interesting so far! I first had to fill out alot of paperwork about me and my family, which also included Michael as well. From birth to know. Ive also had to work on getting new insurance to cover being a surrogate, send all medical records of my past two pregnancy's and take the MMPI test.
So far everything is looking good!! hopefully heading out east in the next couple of weeks to have my first apt at the fertility clinic, so make sure I'll be ok to do a transfer.
(A transfer is when they pregnate me with someone elses fertalized eggs)

What is a MMPI test? I don't think I had to do one of those. I just did all the paperwork and got approved for the insurance then flew out to the fertility clinic and to see the psychiatrist.
ReplyDeleteits the test the psychiatrist gives you. Over 500 ?'s . Like would you like to be a news anchor, or do you think people are following you?? I'm still waiing on insurance....

I am at about the same point of my journey as you are! My medical history has been approved and I passed the MMIP. I am now waiting to schedule my social worker interview. I hope to be matched sometime this month! I am so excited!
ReplyDeleteMy mother is not supportive so I quit talking about it around her. She has no idea how far I am in this process. Anyone else having this kind of problem? I have decided not to tell her until I have been matched and on the fertility drugs.
